## Questions & answers

**Q: Does the Sunstone® StarBBQ™ 24″ Smokeless Fire Pit come with any kind of warranty? What if I have an issue after a few months?**

The specific terms and duration can be found in the product manual or on the Sunstone website. If you encounter any issues after a few months, we recommend contacting Sunstone's customer support directly with your proof of purchase; they are excellent at assisting with product concerns and troubleshooting. See our warranty page for coverage details.

**Q: What's the best way to clean the raised griddle after cooking, especially after searing something greasy?**

For the raised griddle on your Sunstone® StarBBQ™ 24″ Smokeless Fire Pit, the best cleaning method is to scrape off any large food debris while it's still warm using a metal spatula or griddle scraper. Once cooled, you can wash it with warm soapy water and a non-abrasive scrub brush, then rinse thoroughly and dry immediately to prevent water spots. For really tough grease, a bit of baking soda paste can work wonders.

**Q: What are the main materials used in this fire pit, and how well will it hold up to harsh weather like rain or snow?**

The Sunstone® StarBBQ™ 24″ Smokeless Fire Pit Base with Base Rim and Raised Griddle is constructed from high-grade stainless steel, known for its exceptional durability and corrosion resistance. This makes it very well-suited for outdoor environments and should withstand various weather conditions, including rain and snow, without significant wear. To prolong its life, we recommend using a cover when not in use during prolonged periods of harsh weather.

**Q: I already have a portable fire pit. Can I use my existing griddle or other accessories with this Sunstone® StarBBQ™ model?**

The Sunstone® StarBBQ™ 24″ Smokeless Fire Pit Base with Base Rim and Raised Griddle (STARBBQ-24FPBS-BSR-RGR) is specifically designed to work with its included raised griddle and other Sunstone® StarBBQ™ accessories. While some third-party accessories *might* fit, we highly recommend using only Sunstone® StarBBQ™ branded accessories to ensure proper fit, safe operation, and optimal cooking performance. This unit is engineered as a complete cooking hub.

**Q: How difficult is the installation for the Sunstone® StarBBQ™ 24″ Smokeless Fire Pit Base? Do I need a professional?**

The installation of the Sunstone® StarBBQ™ 24″ Smokeless Fire Pit Base with Base Rim and Raised Griddle is designed to be straightforward for a DIY enthusiast. It comes mostly pre-assembled, and you'll primarily be connecting the base rim and placing the griddle. While not strictly required, having a second person to help lift and position the unit can make the process much easier, especially when integrating it into an existing outdoor kitchen setup.
