**Q: What's the best way to clean and maintain the Sunstone® Solid Steel Powder Coated Griddle after cooking?**

After cooking on your Sunstone® Solid Steel Powder Coated Griddle, the best practice is to clean it while it's still warm. Scrape off any food residue with a griddle scraper, then wipe it down with a damp cloth. For stubborn spots, a little hot water can help. Avoid harsh abrasive cleaners to preserve the powder coating, and always apply a thin layer of cooking oil after cleaning to season and protect the surface from rust.

**Q: What's the durability like for this powder-coated steel griddle? Will it rust or warp over time in outdoor conditions?**

The Sunstone® Solid Steel Powder Coated Griddle (SUNCP-GRIDDLE) is constructed from solid steel, which provides excellent heat retention and durability. The powder coating is crucial for outdoor use, offering a protective barrier against rust and corrosion. With proper care and occasional seasoning, it's built to withstand various weather conditions without significant warping or premature degradation.

This Sunstone® Solid Steel Powder Coated Griddle (SUNCP-GRIDDLE) is categorized under 'Ruby Grill Components,' meaning it's specifically designed to be compatible with Sunstone Ruby series grills. The Sunstone® Solid Steel Powder Coated Griddle (SUNCP-GRIDDLE) is designed for straightforward installation. It typically drops into a pre-cut opening in your countertop or can be placed directly on your grill grates if you're using it as an accessory. Ensure your surface is level and stable before placing the griddle, and always allow adequate ventilation around the unit.
