## Questions & answers

**Q: Does the StarBBQ™ Diamond Grid Grilling Grate Insert come with any kind of warranty or guarantee in case something goes wrong?**

Specific warranty details, including the duration and coverage, can typically be found on the product packaging or StarBBQ's official website. We recommend registering your product after purchase to ensure you receive full support. See our warranty page for coverage details.

**Q: What's the best way to clean and maintain the STARBBQ-EXGRATE after I've cooked on it? Can I just throw it in the dishwasher?**

For cleaning your StarBBQ™ Diamond Grid Grilling Grate Insert, avoid the dishwasher as it can strip the seasoning and promote rust. The best method is to scrape off any food residue with a grill brush while it's still warm. Then, wash it by hand with hot water and a stiff brush (no soap, if possible, to preserve the seasoning), dry it thoroughly, and apply a thin layer of cooking oil to re-season before storing.

**Q: What exactly is the StarBBQ™ Diamond Grid Grilling Grate made of? I'm worried about rust and how long it will last with frequent use.**

The StarBBQ™ Diamond Grid Grilling Grate Insert is constructed from heavy-duty cast iron, known for its exceptional heat retention and durability. With proper care, it's designed to withstand high temperatures and frequent use for many years. Cast iron can develop a protective seasoning over time, which helps prevent rust and enhances its non-stick properties.

**Q: I have an older Weber kettle grill. Will the STARBBQ-EXGRATE fit inside it, or is it primarily for open campfires?**

While the StarBBQ™ Diamond Grid Grilling Grate Insert is excellent for open campfires due to its heavy-duty design, its compatibility with a Weber kettle grill depends on the kettle's diameter. This grate is generally designed as a standalone campfire grill. We recommend measuring the internal diameter of your Weber kettle to see if it can accommodate the dimensions of the STARBBQ-EXGRATE for a stable fit.

**Q: How do I set up the StarBBQ™ Diamond Grid Grilling Grate Insert for the first time? Does it require any special tools?**

Setting up your StarBBQ™ Diamond Grid Grilling Grate Insert is quite straightforward. Simply place the grate over your campfire or fire pit, ensuring it's stable on a heat-resistant surface. The integrated handles make it easy to position securely, and no special tools are required for initial setup or removal, making it perfect for camping or backyard use.
