## Questions & answers

**Q: Does this Ruby Rotisserie Kit (P-RK-5B) come with any kind of warranty, and what if I have issues with the motor or bracket down the line?**

The specific duration can vary, so it's always best to check the documentation included with your kit or Ruby's official website. If you encounter any issues, their customer support team is usually very responsive and can assist with troubleshooting or warranty claims. See our warranty page for coverage details.

**Q: What's the best way to clean the rotisserie rod and forks after I've cooked something greasy like a whole chicken?**

Cleaning the Ruby Stainless Steel Rotisserie Kit is quite simple. Once cooled, you can easily remove the rod and forks and hand wash them with warm soapy water and a non-abrasive sponge. For stubborn grease, a degreaser designed for kitchen use works wonders. Avoid harsh scouring pads to maintain the stainless steel's finish.

**Q: Since this is stainless steel, how durable is it really for outdoor use, especially if I live in a coastal area?**

The Ruby Stainless Steel Rotisserie Kit is constructed from high-grade stainless steel, which is excellent for outdoor durability and corrosion resistance, even in coastal environments. While it's built to last, a quick wipe-down after use and storing the motor indoors when not in use will significantly extend its lifespan and keep it looking new for many years.

**Q: Will this P-RK-5B rotisserie kit fit my older model Ruby grill that's also 42 inches, or is it only for the exact RUBY5B model?**

While the P-RK-5B is specifically designed and tested for the 42″ RUBY5B, Ruby often maintains consistent dimensions for accessories across similar-sized models. We recommend double-checking your grill's model number and comparing the mounting points with the kit's specifications, or contacting Ruby customer support directly to confirm compatibility with your specific older 42-inch Ruby grill model.

**Q: I'm not super handy. How difficult is it to install this Ruby Stainless Steel Rotisserie Kit on my 42" Ruby grill?**

Installation of the Ruby Stainless Steel Rotisserie Kit (P-RK-5B) is designed to be straightforward for the average DIYer. It comes with a mounting bracket specifically for the 42" RUBY5B grill, so you won't need to do any custom fabrication. Most users can have it set up and ready to go in under an hour, especially since Ruby grills usually have pre-drilled holes for rotisserie accessories.
