Right from the start, this Drop‑In Single Sink offers premium 304 stainless steel construction for both interior and exterior surfaces, ensuring food safety and long life. With a hot & cold water faucet and matching soap dispenser included, you get full utility without needing extra purchases. Measuring 16‑1/4" wide × 17‑1/2" deep × 6‑1/2" high, the Drop‑In Single Sink fits neatly into many counters. The required cut‑out size is 15" W × 16‑1/4" D × 5‑1/2" H, and the sink bowl itself is 12" W × 10‑1/2" D × 6" H. These dimensions provide a generous bowl for washing glasses, prepping garnishes, or rinsing produce, while still maintaining a compact footprint. Installation is easy. The sink is “drop‑in” style—meaning it drops into a cut‑out in your countertop. It works especially well with thicker counters, and all mounting hardware is included. The hot & cold faucet, soap dispenser, and kitchen‑sized drain work out of the box. The sink also features a 3‑3/4‑inch drain well and includes a drain stem, making it compatible with most garbage disposals. Finishing details matter: the Drop‑In Single Sink uses light brushed #4 horizontal finish that complements Sunstone grills, outdoor kitchen appliances, and other stainless steel fixtures. Polished chrome handles on the faucet and soap dispenser match cleanly and add a bright touch. Keep your proof of purchase handy, as it will be required for any warranty service. See our warranty page for coverage details. **Q: Will the hot and cold faucet on the A-SS17 be compatible with my standard garden hose connections, or do I need specific plumbing for it?** The hot and cold faucet on the Premier Drop-In Single Sink with Hot & Cold Faucet – Sunstone A-SS17 is designed for standard household plumbing connections, typically 1/2-inch NPT fittings. While you could adapt a garden hose connection, it's highly recommended to plumb it directly to dedicated hot and cold water lines for optimal water pressure and temperature control, just like an indoor sink. **Q: How do I keep my Sunstone A-SS17 sink and faucet looking new? Are there any special cleaning instructions or products I should avoid?** To maintain the shine of your Premier Drop-In Single Sink with Hot & Cold Faucet – Sunstone A-SS17, simply clean it regularly with mild soap and water, then wipe dry with a soft cloth to prevent water spots. Avoid abrasive cleaners, steel wool, or harsh chemicals like bleach, as these can scratch the stainless steel finish or damage the faucet's components. For stubborn stains, a non-abrasive stainless steel cleaner can be used. **Q: I'm worried about rust and corrosion in an outdoor environment. What material is the Sunstone A-SS17 made from, and how durable is it really?** The Premier Drop-In Single Sink with Hot & Cold Faucet – Sunstone A-SS17 is crafted from durable 304 stainless steel, which is highly resistant to rust, corrosion, and extreme weather conditions. This makes it ideal for prolonged outdoor use, ensuring it maintains its pristine appearance and functionality for many years, even in coastal areas or climates with high humidity. **Q: What are the specific requirements for installing the Premier Drop-In Single Sink with Hot & Cold Faucet – Sunstone A-SS17 into my outdoor kitchen countertop?** For the Premier Drop-In Single Sink with Hot & Cold Faucet – Sunstone A-SS17, you'll need a countertop cutout of approximately 16.5 inches by 14.5 inches.
