## Questions & answers

**Q: What if I have an issue with this NGH18 regulator after I've installed it? Is there a warranty or customer support I can reach out to?**

Absolutely! If you encounter any issues after installation, you should contact the retailer where you purchased it or True-Hybrid's customer support directly. They can provide troubleshooting assistance, warranty details, and guidance on potential replacements. See our warranty page for coverage details.

**Q: Does this Natural Gas Regulator require any special cleaning or maintenance to keep it working properly? Or is it pretty much set it and forget it?**

The Natural Gas Regulator - NG-Regulator w/18" Rubber Hose is largely maintenance-free once installed correctly. However, a quick visual inspection of the hose and connections a couple of times a year is recommended to check for any leaks (using a soapy water solution) or physical damage. Keeping the area around the regulator free of debris can also help prolong its lifespan.

**Q: What's the hose made of on this NG-Regulator? I'm concerned about it lasting outdoors in different weather conditions.**

The '18" Rubber Hose' component of this Natural Gas Regulator is constructed from durable, weather-resistant rubber, designed to withstand outdoor elements like UV exposure and temperature fluctuations. While robust, it's good practice to periodically inspect the hose for any signs of cracking or wear, especially if your grill is exposed to harsh conditions year-round, to ensure continued safe operation.

**Q: Will this Natural Gas Regulator work with my older True-Hybrid grill, or is it only for newer models? I have a grill that's about 7 years old.**

This NG-Regulator w/18" Rubber Hose is specifically categorized under 'True-Hybrid Grill Parts,' indicating broad compatibility with the True-Hybrid lineup. As long as your 7-year-old True-Hybrid grill was originally designed for natural gas, this regulator should be a direct fit. It's always a good idea to cross-reference the connection type on your grill with the regulator's fittings for absolute certainty.

**Q: I'm a little nervous about installing natural gas lines. How difficult is it to set up this NG-Regulator w/18" Rubber Hose, and do I need a professional?**

While the Natural Gas Regulator - NG-Regulator w/18" Rubber Hose is designed for straightforward connection, natural gas installation should always be handled with care. If you're not experienced with gas lines, it's highly recommended to consult a licensed gas plumber for the final connection to your home's gas supply to ensure safety and proper sealing. The 18-inch hose provides a good amount of flexibility for positioning.
