## Questions & answers

**Q: What kind of warranty comes with this $298.00 Designer Series door? I want to make sure I'm covered if anything goes wrong.**

It's usually a multi-year warranty on the stainless steel components, ensuring your investment is protected. We recommend checking the full warranty terms on our main website or contacting customer support for the precise duration and coverage details for your Designer Series, Raised Style - 15" Single Door w/Shelf Right Swing. See our warranty page for coverage details.

**Q: What's the best way to clean and maintain my Designer Series door to keep it looking new, especially if it gets greasy from BBQing?**

Keeping your Designer Series, Raised Style - 15" Single Door w/Shelf Right Swing - DE-DVL15 looking pristine is easy! For general cleaning, a soft cloth with warm soapy water is usually sufficient. For tougher grease or smudges, a specialized stainless steel cleaner applied with the grain will work wonders, followed by a buff with a dry microfiber cloth to prevent streaks. Avoid abrasive scrubbers or harsh chemicals, as these can scratch the finish.

**Q: Does this single door come with a shelf inside? And can I reverse the door swing if I need to?**

Yes, the DE-DVL15 explicitly states 'w/Shelf' in its product name, so it absolutely comes with an interior shelf, which is great for organizing your outdoor kitchen essentials. However, this specific model is listed as 'Right Swing,' meaning the hinges are on the right and the door opens from the left. The swing direction is not reversible on this particular Designer Series door, so plan your layout accordingly.

**Q: I'm worried about rust and weathering in my coastal climate. What materials are used for the DE-DVL15, and how durable is it really?**

You're right to be concerned about durability in a coastal environment! The Designer Series, Raised Style - 15" Single Door w/Shelf Right Swing - DE-DVL15 is constructed from high-grade 304 stainless steel, which is excellent for resisting corrosion and rust, even in harsh outdoor conditions. This material ensures long-term performance and maintains its aesthetic appeal against elements like salt air and UV exposure, making it a very robust choice for your outdoor kitchen.

**Q: I'm planning my outdoor kitchen layout. How difficult is it to install this Designer Series 15" Single Door, and what kind of opening do I need?**

Installation of the Designer Series, Raised Style - 15" Single Door w/Shelf Right Swing - DE-DVL15 is quite straightforward for anyone with basic DIY skills. It's designed to fit standard outdoor kitchen cabinet openings, typically requiring a cutout slightly smaller than the door's outer dimensions for a flush fit. We recommend consulting the installation manual for precise measurements, but generally, you'll want an opening around 13.5" wide and 20.5" high to accommodate it properly.
