## Questions & answers

**Q: Is there any warranty offered on the Ruby-GR5B-Griddle? I'm investing a good amount of money and want to know I'm covered if something goes wrong.**

It's always recommended to check the specific warranty details provided by Ruby or your retailer at the time of purchase for the exact terms and duration of coverage. See our warranty page for coverage details.

**Q: What's the best way to clean these 304 SS grates and the solid steel griddle after I've cooked on them? I want to keep them looking good.**

For the 304 SS grates, a good quality grill brush after each use, while still warm, is usually sufficient. For the solid steel griddle, it's best to scrape off any food residue with a flat-edged spatula while it's still warm, then wipe it down with a paper towel and apply a thin layer of cooking oil to prevent rust and maintain its seasoned surface.

**Q: What kind of material are these grates and the griddle made from, and how durable are they for outdoor use? I want something that will last.**

The grates are constructed from high-quality 304 stainless steel, known for its excellent corrosion resistance and durability, especially in outdoor environments. The solid steel griddle is also built to withstand high temperatures and frequent use, offering a robust cooking surface that should last for many years with proper care.

**Q: Will this Ruby-GR5B-Griddle fit my older 42-inch Ruby grill, or is it only for the very latest models? I'm concerned about compatibility.**

This Cooking Grates for Ruby Grills w/Solid Steel Griddle is specifically designed for the 42″ 5B Ruby Grill. While Ruby generally maintains consistent sizing for their models, it's always best to double-check your grill's model number or measure your existing grate dimensions to ensure perfect compatibility before purchasing to avoid any fitment issues.

**Q: I just ordered the Ruby-GR5B-Griddle. How difficult is it to install these grates and the solid steel griddle into my 42" 5B Ruby Grill?**

Installation of the Cooking Grates for Ruby Grills w/Solid Steel Griddle is quite straightforward. You simply remove your old grates and carefully place the new 304 SS grates and the round inset solid steel griddle into the designated slots on your 42" 5B Ruby Grill. No special tools are typically required, but always refer to your grill's manual for specific instructions.
